12 years ago, Brian Miller had a blackberry sangria while out of town. He enjoyed it so much, he began experimenting with ingredients to duplicate that sangria's flavor. He failed, but in the process, he made what he thought was an even better sangria! Brian starting making them in small quantities of 3-4 bottles at a time which he shared with family and friends. As time went on, he began getting more and more requests for the sangria from people he knew. This went on for years until on June of 2017, while hosting an annual family gathering, Brian's son and niece encouraged him to start selling the sangria. Brian began the process in August of 2017, then in December of 2018, he was finally granted a license. Simply Sangria opened its doors on March 1st of 2019!
